Meet our AIU Partner
Dr. Douglas Carew is vice-chancellor of Africa International University in Nairobi, Kenya. He earned degrees at the University of Sierra Leone, Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology and Trinity International University. Under his leadership, NEGST became a Christian university and was chartered as AIU on March 4, 2011, an historic event that brought the President of Kenya, Hon Mwai Kibaki, to the campus to grant the charter. Douglas and his wife, Ayiku, have three grown children, two of whom live in the United States. They attend Nairobi Chapel, which is led by several NEGST graduates who are the lead pastors.
