Paul is a native of Canada and a long-time resident in the Chicago area where he served as editor and executive for Christian Service Brigade for 18 years and as administrative pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Warrenville, Illinois, for 12 years. He and his wife, Priscilla, spent six months at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in 2000 and gained a deep respect and love for the church on the African continent. Priscilla teaches English as a Second Language to immigrant adults in the Chicago area.

Paul earned a Ph.D. in education at the University of Illinois and has taught on a part-time basis at Reformed Theological Seminary, Wheaton College and University of Illinois.

Paul and Priscilla have three children, Kecia (29), Caleb (26) and Andrew (23) and two grandchildren.

Dr. Titus Kivunzi is a church statesman in Kenya, now sharing his pastoral experience with students at NEGST who will be the next generation of pastors. CLA seeks support for the African faculty at NEGST that includes men like Dr. Kivunzi. CLA also tries to introduce NEGST professors to U.S. churches.
