faculty support

Dr. Titus Kivunzi is a church statesman in Kenya, now sharing his pastoral experience with students at NEGST who will be the next generation of pastors. CLA seeks support for the African faculty at NEGST that includes men like Dr. Kivunzi. CLA also tries to introduce NEGST professors to U.S. churches.

Christian Leaders for Africa is committed to the goal of African scholars teaching at NEGST. Teachers from Europe, Asia and North America will always be welcomed at NEGST but the crucial need is for Africans to be the majority of the faculty. They set the example for students and they link the classroom to the churches where students will serve.

NEGST has added 4-5 new African scholars to their faculty in recent years and Christian Leaders for Africa has committed to raising funds for NEGST to cover their expense. It costs NEGST about $27,000 per year for each new faculty member.
