October 2019 Updates

Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST) professors gathered on Oct 16, 2019 for prayer and encouragement. Together with their spouses, they shared their hopes for Africa International University and the specific role they could play in making this great university even better.

Even though NEGST is only one school of Africa International University, it is still the largest and in some ways, the most famous school of AIU. NEGST was founded in 1983 as a graduate school for African scholars seeking to achieve a Master’s Degree or PhD in theology or missions. NEGST has continued to be a flagship graduate school for theology on the continent of Africa. Over 30 African countries are represented at AIU. These scholars will be the next generation of Christian leaders in Africa making a difference in the spreading of the gospel to every tribe and nation.

Join the leaders of NEGST in praying for:

  • The students to learn to handle Scripture wisely and deeply.
  • Wisdom in counseling and encouraging the students.
  • Grace as the workload continues to increase.
  • New students in the other programs at AIU to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus as Lord.
  • New faculty to join NEGST.
  • The school’s financial difficulties and for the Lord’s provision.
  • Mentoring groups to be authentic.
  • Needed scholarships for NEGST students.
  • Strength in overseeing students writing their Master’s or PhD theses.
  • Balance in teaching, writing and publishing.
  • Children and families growing up on the campus of AIU.
